Family Fun
Looking for fun things to do with the family after the beach day is over? Dewey Beach hosts free family friendly events every week starting June 13th. Enjoy Movies on the Beach on Monday nights and community bonfires on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These events are free for everyone, just BYOC (bring your own chair). Other activities in Dewey include daily yoga classes on the beach, free youth recreation, junior life guarding program, and free Saturday skim boarding clinics.

Outdoor activities
A popular favorite outdoor adventure is kayaking with the dolphins. Quest Kayaks leads a tour that starts in Cape Henlopen State Park and paddles from the Delaware Bay, around the Cape Henlopen point and into the Atlantic Ocean, alongside the wild dolphins and historic light houses. Also, next to Que Pasa in Dewey, East of Maui rents out kayaks and stand up paddle boards where you can take them out on the bay.

Shop
Avoid the crowds at the outlets and shop at the area’s unique boutique stores and small shops. The Pink Crab on Rehoboth Avenue is a boutique dedicated to selling all things Lilly Pulitzer, a summer style staple year after year. Aquamarine boutique in Lewes is another town favorite. They have a large selection of unique fashions from well known designers like Milly and Nicole Miller.

Breakfast and Brunch
Start the day off right with a quick tasty breakfast and coffee at The Point Coffee House and Bake Shoppe, located conveniently on Route 1 heading into Rehoboth and Dewey. They fresh brew coffee and bake pastries daily. Cafe Nectar in Lewes serves an array of healthy juices and cocktails and an extensive menu of handcrafted meals. A popular favorite dish to try is their new avocado toast.

Happy Hour
Cultured Pearl, located on Rehoboth Avenue, has an awesome rooftop deck surrounded by Coy ponds and offers great drink and sushi prices for happy hour. Fin’s, also located in Rehoboth, has well priced happy hour drinks and oyster bar specials. Beachside Bar & Grill has weekly food and drink specials with a fun sports bar atmosphere making it a great place for viewing this summer’s Olympic events.

Restaurants
The beaches are full of great restaurants with every type of food imaginable. These restaurants are off the beaten path but serve some of the most amazing food in the area. The Buttery, located in Lewes, serves an upscale, elegant menu with amazing customer service in an cozy, home like atmosphere. Cafe Azafran located in Rehoboth and Lewes serves a high quality, creatively prepared menu and is also known for their amazing breakfast and espresso bar.
