What’s in Her Bag: Sydney Sullivan

Sydney Sullivan, member of the Social Stylate team, reveals her work bag essentials. Whether working on websites, meeting with clients, or putting an email blast together, every day is different. To be prepared for a full day of running around, it’s important to pack a bag with all the right work day essentials. Here’s a peak in Sydney’s daily bag.

The Tote: This large tote bag by DVF is perfect for me because it fits my laptop, camera and much more. Plus, it can get heavy so I love the different size handles. It’s also super durable and water-proof.

Lipgloss: Everywhere I go, I keep a Fresh lipgloss with me. Houppette has a large variety of them and this summer I currently love the red shade.

To Do List Planner: I am a list maker and I love the “Today’s To Do List” by Bloom Daily Planners. Not only are they from Delaware but they did a wonderful job with the layout of this planner that includes sections like what to buy, exercise and how many glasses of water you drank!

Daily Calendar: The Lilly Pulitzer large agendas are a game changer because they’re bright, cheerful, and have a monthly and weekly view. I’m a Florida girl at hear and I love the prints. Each year, I get mine from the Wilmington Country Store.

Card Case: A few years ago, one of our co-founders, Lauren, ordered these card cases for our team. They’re made from real leather and have our logo with our initials stamped on them. There are two pockets, which is perfect for your cards and the other people’s cards.

Snack Bar: Since every day is so different, sometimes I don’t eat lunch until the afternoon. I keep snack bars in my bag for those days and I try to get the ones that aren’t full of sugar. Janssen’s always has great options with healthy, energy boosting ingredients.

Key Chain: I love this tassel keychain from Marshall’s because it’s stylish and functional. I’m less likely to lose it because I can clip it on to my bag or the inside pocket.

Sunglasses: This pair is from Christina’s Unique Accessories and More and I love them. They were approximately $15 and came with a cute case.

Coin Purse: We often drive to places where we park at meters and so I try to keep a coin purse with me at all times. I love this one I found at a vintage store.
