Transitioning your wardrobe from summer weather to the chill of autumn is a necessary evil. Extending the life of your favorite pieces into more than one season means that you can enjoy them that much longer AND save some money for future purchases! It’s easy…
We’ll use this simple, floral button down from the GAP as an example:
Wear It Now with distressed jean shorts from JCrew and Tory Burch flip flops
Wear It Later with a tweed skirt from Ann Taylor and booties from Sam Edelman
It’s worthwhile to invest in classic, cotton pieces for use in the warmer months and for layering underneath blazers and jackets when the temperatures drop. We are always interested in lessening the work of switching out closets! How about you?
Happy Monday! Although we certainly prefer the weekend, Lauren suggested this great blog post to start the work week in a positive light! Sydney is inspired to build the perfect summer wardrobe with help from Because I’m Addicted blog. Carroll is happy with ANYTHING having to do with Wimbledon! And, I am busy searching for quick summer recipes (like this lemon spaghetti) for healthy meals after long days at the pool! Enjoy
Why? Because we can always rely on JCrew for the cutest Mother’s Day outfit inspiration! Which would YOU choose?
Is there anything better than Thanksgiving? I don’t think so. Family, friends and food! Three of my favorites!
I am hosting this year and things will be busy! I wanted to put together an outfit that would be comfortable AND stylish. I found orange skinny pants at the GAP for a steal and plan on pairing them with a denim shirt and “fancy” embroidered sweatshirt from JCrew. In the spirit of being festive, I will throw on this awesome Bauble Bar necklace. Because I will be on my feet all day, my tried and true House of Harlow booties from a few season’s past will be perfect!
What does YOUR Thanksgiving outfit look like?
