30 days of fitness

Last year actress Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couple’s Retreat, Hit & Run) gave herself a challenge; do something active every day for 30 days. I loved the idea and decided to give it a try. I’m currently on day 10. If I can’t make it to the gym, I pop in my Pilates DVD or turn on some music and dance, non-stop, for 30 minutes.

Not only am I getting my heart rate up,but I’m forcing myself to put everything on pause for at least 30 minutes a day. It’s great for my inner being as well as my body. I’m also giving myself bonus points for starting this in the dead of winter!
